Why help Amigos do Bem (Neighborly Friends)?
When you help Neighborly Friends, you or your company have the opportunity to also become responsible for the transformation in the life of thousands of people abandoned to their own fate, and for the recovery of their dignity as human beings. You help make a better world through work, income and dignity to every population living in poverty.
One of our great achievements is the creation of "Neighborly Cities". We carefuly chose Brazil's dry northeast as this region lacks everything, except hope. There, we developed infrastructure, urban planning and construction projects to build houses to families in need, improving the local development and fostering the social inclusion to fight hunger and poverty through educational activities and self sustainable projects.
We would like to invite you to take part in a social project renowned in the third sector, through which we assist 9,600 families with food, dwelling, medical, dental and ophtalmology assistance and education. In 2008, as a result of its volunteer work, Neighborly Friends was honoured with a prize from Globo Publishing House's project Generosidade.
